The Business Office staff oversees and manages all aspects of Third Party Billing (i.e. Medicare, Medicaid, Private Group Insurance, etc.) which includes Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) for our eligible member when outsourced services are needed.
Covered Services are always based on available funding. Most all non-emergent services require prior authorization for services outside of the clinic. It is vital to ensure Yellowhawk has your current Insurance information for all services provided to help with claim and PRC processing. Before receiving any offsite care under PRC, please ensure you have discussed this with your primary provider and obtained a medical need consult for prior authorization before the services are obtained. In case of emergency, call 9-1-1 or visit the closest emergency room. * Emergent care requires a 72 hours notification to the clinic to meet compliance and help ensure patients are not responsible for any out-of-pocket expense.
If you have received a bill for health care, please bring it to our PRC department or contact the Business Office so they can properly review your claim for payment.
