A variety of senior services are available to our elders. We provide several meals a week and a place to gather at the Senior Center. We provide additional assistance to those 55 years of age and older who live both on and off the reservation. Examples include:
- Procuring medical supplies or equipment (wheel chairs, walkers, canes, hospital beds, etc.)
- Providing transportation to and from appointments and errands
- Assisting with paperwork, such as Social Security and Medicare applications.
- Check-in visits
- Providing referrals to caregivers
- Medication delivery
Transportation to and from appointments is provided to community members who live within or near the boundaries of the CTUIR and have no other means of transportation and/or require special assistance. This service is specifically related to non-emergency medical or behavioral health appointments. For emergencies, dial 911. (541) 278-7559.
Please note that if you are in need of transport to the ER, you can call 541.276.TAXI in the Pendleton area and receive a free transport.
