Public Health Authority Recommendation – Through August 31, 2022

Public Health Authority Recommendation – Through August 31, 2022

As of July 31, 2022, due to continued increase of positive COVID-19 tests on the CTUIR we are asking that all persons continue to wear a mask at all times in indoor settings while at CTUIR entities.  Umatilla County is currently experiencing high rates of COVID-19 and in recent weeks Yellowhawk has experienced a steady increase, putting our community into a high rate of positive cases. Due to multiple recent events and the uptick in cases, and how easily COVID-19 spreads, we are determining at this time, the community risk level is higher than we anticipated and are seeking the help of our community to slow the spread.

Social distancing of six feet and frequent, thorough handwashing practices also remain extremely important and will continue to be required as essential to minimize the risk of exposure and infection. As always, Yellowhawk is here for our community and will continue immunizing, testing and treating our community. We currently have COVID-19 at home testing kits available through our pharmacy drive thru for your convenience. We appreciate your assistance in limiting the spread of COVID-19, please do stay home if you are ill. People may choose to mask at any time. People with symptoms, or a positive test should wear a mask at all times when around others.

Please contact our Public Health Department if you need a vaccination or booster, our team is available to help answer your questions.
