  • Work Schedules – Schedules may vary by position, but a typical work week is Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Holidays – Yellowhawk has 13 paid holidays including your Birthday
  • Leave – Full-time employees will accrue Annual Leave (Vacation), Sick Leave (sickness and dr. appts), Administrative Leave (inclement weather), Traditional Leave (CTUIR Specific), Funeral Leave.
  • Health Insurance – Premiums for the employee’s medical, dental, vision, and life insurance are paid by Yellowhawk. Coverage is available for dependents on a pre-tax basis through payroll deductions paid for by the employee.
  • Life Insurance – Life policy of $50,000 & $50,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D). New employees can sign up for additional life guaranteed issue up to $200,000 of additional life or 5x annual salary and up to $200,000 AD&D or 5x annual salary.
  • Retirement Plan – 401k- Newport Group- Yellowhawk matches 116% of deferrals up to 6% of compensation. Once eligible you are always vested 100%.  Eligible after one year of employment.
  • Continuing Education – With supervisor approval, employees are allowed paid time to complete continuing education necessary for them to improve and maintain superior job performance. Appropriate travel costs and registration fees are also paid

Community Health Representative (CHR)

**The Community Health Representative (CHR) directly impacts individuals, families and the community as a whole by working with Public Health Nurse (PHN), medical care team to educate, promote, and support healthy lifestyles. All duties and responsibilities will be performed in accordance with the Yellowhawk Mission and Vision statement.

 

Hiring Salary Range  $27,220 – $33,691

Integrated Care Therapist

The Integrated Care Therapist will provide mental health assessment, crisis intervention, safety planning, brief therapy, care coordination and other services as part of the Mental Health staff who are integrated in with the primary care teams. All duties and responsibilities will be performed in accordance with the Yellowhawk Mission and Vision statements.

 

Hiring Salary Range  $54,780 – $68,485

Physician

The Physician works closely with other healthcare staff to diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses. The Physician examines patients; takes medical histories; prescribes medications; and orders, performs and/or interprets diagnostic tests. All duties and responsibilities will be performed in accordance with the Yellowhawk Mission and Vision statements.

 

Hiring Salary Range  $188,000 – $225,000

Accountant II

This position for Yellowhawk Tribal Health Center is to ensure that the daily job functions are performed in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy. This position is responsible for accurately reconciling accounts, summarizing activity, resolving reconciling differences, and providing variance analysis and insight to underlying drivers as appropriate. The Accountant II will handle upper-level accounting functions. All duties and responsibilities will be performed in accordance with the Yellowhawk Mission and Vision statements.

 

Hiring Salary Range $47,651 – $59,596

Certified Medical Coder

The role of a Coder is to support the accuracy of data information used in patient medical records and is vital to health care needs today. The coding role also ensures compliance with established correct coding initiatives/guidelines, third party reimbursement policies, regulations, and accreditation guidelines. All duties and responsibilities will be performed in accordance with the Yellowhawk Mission and Vision statements.

 

Hiring Salary Range $36,046-45,084

Medical Director

Responsible for leadership of direct medical care operations. Requires experience and skills to assess and employ clinical competence, current best practices and process improvement, along with responsibility for the overall performance of physician and non-physician providers, including locums and contract providers. The Director will spend about 70% of the time in administration of the medical program(s) and about 30% of the time acting as a physician and consultant to medical providers.

 

Hiring Salary Range $225,000 d.o.e.
